Privacy Consent

1. Overview

CDM Property Pty Ltd (ABN 28 689 051 545), trading as Powerhouse Performance Motors collects your personal information when you request a finance quote or enquire about a vehicle. When you tick the consent box and submit the form, you agree that we may collect, use and share your information for the purposes set out below. Our Privacy Policy gives more detail about how we handle personal information.

2. What personal information we collect

Personal information is information or an opinion about you that identifies you or could reasonably identify you. For a finance request it can include your name, contact details, date of birth, residency and licence status, employment and income, housing costs, existing debts, and the details of the vehicle and loan you are asking about.

3. Information about another person

If you give us information about someone else, such as a partner, co-borrower or guarantor, you confirm that you have their permission, and that you have told them about this page and our Privacy Policy.

4. Why we collect it

• to understand what you need and respond to your enquiry;
• to introduce you to our finance partner so they can consider your finance request;
• to arrange a test drive, inspection, purchase and delivery;
• to meet our legal duties and manage our business.

5. Identity and financial situation

Lenders and credit providers must, by law, check who you are and assess whether a loan is suitable for you. They will ask you for identity documents and details of your income, expenses and debts. If they cannot verify this information, your application may not go ahead. You can ask them about other ways to verify your identity.

6. Who we share it with

When you ask for finance, we share your details with A Lend Finance (credit representative 568862 of Rivercity Finance Pty Ltd, Australian Credit Licence 539918) and any lender they submit your request to. We may also share information with transport, inspection and registration providers, our technology providers, and our advisers, as described in our Privacy Policy. Some of our providers process data outside Australia (for example in the United States).

7. Credit reporting

We do not request your credit report. If you proceed to a finance application, A Lend and the lender may ask for your credit report from a credit reporting body and may share information about your application with those bodies. They will ask for your separate consent and give you their own credit guide and privacy notices before they do so. Their notices explain your rights, including how to ask a credit reporting body not to use your information for pre-screening or if you believe you are a victim of fraud.

8. Lenders

Your request may be sent to more than one lender. Each lender has its own privacy policy, which you can find on its website. We will tell you which lender your application is with once it goes ahead.

9. Your rights

• You can ask to see and correct the personal information we hold about you.
• You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us. We will stop using your details for finance introductions, but may keep records the law requires.
• You can complain about how we handle your information. See our Privacy Policy for how, including how to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

10. Marketing

We will only send you marketing if you agree to it. You can opt out of marketing at any time using the link in a message or by contacting us.

11. Electronic communications

You agree that we and our finance partner may contact you and send documents electronically, by email, text and phone, using the contact details you provide. Please keep them correct and check them regularly. You can withdraw this agreement at any time by telling us, and ask for documents to be sent another way.

12. Acknowledgement

By ticking the consent box on our quote form you confirm that the information you give us is correct and that you have read and agree to this page and our Privacy Policy. You understand that the figures on our website are estimates, not a credit offer or approval.
